Based on our long-term business vision, "Towards a 100-year Company," the five businesses units (Information Systems, Time Management Products, Parking Systems, Environmental Systems, and Clean Systems) are deploying their products globally mainly in Japan and North America, Europe and Asia, through regional subsidiaries, which are, as global solution providers, working on both expanding and deepening their business domains in accordance with their business and regional characteristics.
In addition, the concept of the new Medium-term Business Plan that commenced in April 2017 is "The 2nd Stage Towards a 100-year Company - Innovative Creation of Value for Sustainable Growth" through which we will further accelerate Regional Growth Strategies, pursue corporate expansion including the creation of new businesses. We will also strive to reinforce the management foundation with our ongoing cost reduction initiatives, improve productivity through work reform, and seek improved brand value.
Since Fiscal Year 2017 is the first year of the new Medium-term Business Plan, based on the strategies for further leap in growth, the Amano group shall concentrate on 3 reforms, (i) employees’ mindset towards work, (ii) the business foundation and (iii) create a lean & mean organization structure. We will also work on cost reductions by driving the “Triple 5” initiatives and with this we aim to achieve the targets indicated in the new Medium-term Plan.
