At SOR, you won’t find a more concerned and caring group of people. Several times a year we’ll serve breakfast or hold a bake sale (SOR employees are really good cooks, too!) with the proceeds going to help a local community, church or school build a new playground or baseball field. Employees are constantly organizing efforts to fight life-threatening diseases or provide food and clothing to the needy. One SOR employee recently hiked 12.5 miles through the Grand Canyon to help raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Most of the employees at SOR have worked in other parts of the shop. This cross-training builds teamwork because they know what to expect from other stages of the production process. (It also results in a better product.) Management is also focused on the team concept. Employees are empowered to do their jobs and encouraged to suggest ways to improve.
